fluke networks has long been the industry standard for copper and fiber certification and troubleshooting.  with the explosive growth of our versiv platform released in 2013 we are expanding by seeking talented everett, wa based employees to help us manage our success.  as a gold sales specialist you will work on opportunities from beginning to close to sell gold support renewals for the fluke networks copper and fiber products

 

essential functions:

  • working a territory to close business on renewal opportunities for our gold customers from initial contact, to quoting, to close of the deal
  • you will be responsible for the quota based on new and renewal gold sales in your assigned territory and work with outside sales teams when necessary to close the business
  • ability to communicate product changes, gold benefits and cost benefit analysis of gold support program to both customers and distributor partners
  • point of contact for customers and distributors for gold account information.
  • communicate feedback to marketing and sales on gold renewal rate and loss reasons in order to maximize renewal rates.
  • ability to work in tandem with other gss members on overlapping territories to provide maximum coverage and customer contact with minimal duplication of efforts
  • ability to work with field sales team to promote and sell gold products to customers. good working knowledge of products, industry, and customers.
  • perform other related duties as assigned.

  •  knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

  • exceptional interpersonal, communication, and writing skills are required to interact with customers, other employees, and management; requires the ability to anticipate and solve problems
  • ability to interact with a variety of people at all levels both internally and externally, especially in building ongoing customer relationships
  • ability to learn complex quoting skills in both salesforce and excel
  • ability to communicate technical information to facilitate sales opportunities with customers
  • negotiation skills and the ability to drive a win-win situation with customers
  • complex problem-solving skills
  • ability to work through procurement processes to secure purchase orders both direct and through a variety of distributors and resellers
  • monthly forecasting to product lines and quota plans
  • demonstrated ability to work independently with reasonable supervision
  • strong working knowledge of microsoft word, excel, and outlook.
  • previous experience with saleforce.com or comparable crm desired.
  • demonstrate both personal integrity and the ability to exercise good judgment
  • previous experience selling computer or related electronic products 
  • bs degree in communications, marketing, or technical field, and 2-4 years related outbound sales experience with technical products desired.
