an opportunity has arisen for a motivated and ambitious junior business development manager who is it proficient and able to learn quickly to join my clients medical services team in stafford, staffordshire. the role requires someone who can take charge with a can-do attitude, to join a friendly and hardworking team. this is a start-up professional services firm where hard work and excellent outcomes are rewarded, and so the work culture is ambitious and needs a very motivated individual willing to go the extra mile. the role will be supporting the systematic and controlled growth of a high growth professional services firm. working with the managing director to take an already high growth company of 10 employees, and supporting the intelligent expansion of client base and services. the successful candidate will provide a business support function for both internal teams and able to represent the company externally to clients. this is a fantastic opportunity for a successful candidate to be part of a high growth business and learn from an experienced, multidisciplinary management team. main tasks of this role include: • business development; growth and retention of current clients. and identify and qualify new customers as per company's policies and business model. • business reporting and data analysis from said reports; monitoring the performance of the company. in particular using the reports to analyse sales and service trends per client and across the organisation as a whole. • market research including trend analysis and comparative/ competitor analysis. • innovation or development in existing products and services to meet the market demand. • sales and marketing strategy formulation; using the data from within the business, about clients and from the market to help formulate 1, 3 and 5 year plans including target setting. • customer relations strategy; using data and other intelligence to develop a specific strategy for each customer. • coordinate appointments, calls and meetings between senior management and customers. • conduct meetings with internal teams and customers to discuss business project development and delivery stages. • operating customer relationship management software (training provided) • maintaining client databases, entering new client and contact information, we use proclaim by access (training provided) • working with the team to further customise sales and marketing reports. • providing general business support as required to the wider team profile of a successful applicant: • previous experience of at least 2 years working in a related field. • bachelors or equivalent experience in a related field including management or marketing • customer orientated with customer service skills • sales experience/ knowledge; understanding of sales dynamics and how to articulate the value propositions of a service. • project management skills • it proficient; basic use of excel, powerpoint for presentations • basic/ practical data analysis to identify changes to make in business or services. • the ability to be proactive and take the initiative • strong attention to detail should you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact clear legal and financial recruitment. please note: due to the number of applications we receive we may be unable to respond to every application directly. if you have not heard from us within 3 working days, please assume your application has been unsuccessful
