salary: gbp24,311.00 - gbp27,695.00 (dependent on experience) shift premiums available

the role:
" awareness of all health and safety regulations/recommendations and all company health and safety regulations/recommendations applicable, ensuring these are always maintained.
" lead and focus the efforts of the team whereby product is manufactured effectively and efficiently to meet the requirements of internal/external customer.
" controlling adherence whereby business targets are achieved.
" ensuring the quality of manufactured product meets drawing specification.
" ensure shop-documentation and electronic information is accurate.
" reporting on departmental achievements in an accurate and concise manner to performance management.
" maintaining an organized work-area whereby set-up time is minimized, and the department is consistently clean.
" engaging and motivating team-members through positive and effective communication.
" periodically reviewing team-members strengths and weaknesses, to identify development opportunities.
" handling poor performance in a timely manner
" recognizing 'self-development' requirements to line management.
