job responsibilities:

provides direction to subordinate supervisors/assemblers based on general policies and management guidelines.  

  • plans and coordinates integrated schedules for personnel, material, and facilities utilization.
  • provides assistance to subordinates in meeting schedules.
  • responsible for assigned department budgets.
  • interprets and executes policies that typically affect subordinate organizational groups.
  • coordinate work programs for shift operations.
  • basic hiring criteria:

  • requires a bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and nine (9) years, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. 
  • the senior manager role requires a bs degree and fourteen (14) years directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. 
  • the supervisor role requires a bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and one (1) years of progressively responsible experience in a directly related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to plan, organize, coordinate, direct and control the activities.  
  • experience in implementation of a manufacturing process improvement activity is desired. 
  • demonstrated performance in factory operations including a thorough knowledge of scheduling, planning, forecasting, performance measurements. 
  • demonstrates verbal and written communication skills and the ability to lead effectively in a challenging team environment. 
  • demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to plan, organize, coordinate, direct and control the activities of the assigned organization. 
  • willingness to be available to supervise occasional overtime work as deemed necessary by company commitment to schedule. 
  • willingness to assist in additional job duties as assigned by management is vital.
