about this client:

laura (22) is a bright, engaging, and active young lady with a fantastic sense of humour. she likes to giggle, and have playful and fun people around her, who are not afraid to be silly and make her laugh! laura enjoys drama and music. laura has an acquired brain injury, learning difficulties and diabetes insipidus. laura is a wheelchair user, using powered chair to get around. she is part of a busy and loving family, and she has two young siblings who she loves spending time with.

overview of role:

this is a fantastic role for candidate looking for casual contract, who enjoys providing 1:1 care and working with young adults. you will be assisting laura with personal care, planning activities, implementing therapies and follow her care plan.. this is a bank contract and the support worker will be offered shifts as and when they are available, on a monthly basis. example of shifts: 7.00am to 3.00pm or 3.00pm to 8.00pm. £14.00 gross per hour weekdays, £15.00 gross per hour weekends.

an energetic, fun, and outgoing, female* bank support worker with a great attitude, keen to learn, and happy to pitch in as and when needed. you will have strong understanding of acquired brain injury and be genuinely interested in supporting young people and promoting their independence. full driving license and previous experience in care are essential.
