as an experienced manager specialising in web and digital, with a passionate outlook and a sharp eye for new trends, you will be capable of taking our website to the next level.

web transformation is a critical part of our marketing strategy, positioning us in alignment with our vision. you will support our ambitious growth plan strengthening our markets and reaching a range of stakeholders and audiences.

as part of our digital team, you will lead the transformation of our website through continuous improvement of our content management system, backend and frontend interfaces and other platforms. you will lead a small team in a fast paced environment, with enthusiasm and a desire to succeed.

you will deliver a best in class website, with ux at its heart, delivering on strategic web projects with an awareness of the changing landscape and technologies. you will oversee and deliver web operations, ux visualisation with sound knowledge relating to visibility, usability and accessibility.

as our web manager, you will oversee web developments and manage the ongoing maintenance of the site, ensuring an effective user experience. with a demonstrable track record in the successful delivery of strategic web projects, you will have adept project management skills, be organised and logical in your approach, solution driven, a great problem solver and have a firm appreciation of web legislation and compliance.

working collaboratively with our head of campaigns and digital marketing manager, directorate colleagues and key stakeholders, you will inform the business with valuable insight and recommendations, whilst delivering a high standard of external communications via multiple digital marketing channels. oversee the implementation of the web strategy and development roadmap.

you will also provide expert advice and guidance on all aspects of web utilising analysis of relevant data, feedback and emerging technologies to ensure the university is kept at the forefront of developments in web / digital marketing.

experience working in the higher education sector is desirable but not essential.
