an excellent opportunity for an experienced furniture finisher & sprayer to join a well-established company based in corsham.
about the company:
they are a family run business that creates exquisite furniture in the super-yacht and high-end residential market. alongside beautiful furniture, they produce real metal specialist finishes for use in all aspects of the design market.
role & requirements:
they are looking for an experienced, competent, and skilled furniture sprayer/finisher to join their growing team. the applicant must have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role; be able to demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and must have experience with all furniture lacquers, paints, and stains. being able to spray metal coatings or have experience in this field would be very beneficial, but not essential.
the role will consist of the checking over, preparation, spraying and finishing of complex forms and furniture pieces – no two things we work on are the same and therefore a problem solving, dynamic mind set is essential to success within this role. sanding, burnishing, and working the material is a very large and important part of the role which can sometimes be physically demanding.
although the role is predominately workshop based, there may be occasions where site visits are required, these may be outside of the uk and so a clean full uk driving license and passport are preferable
candidate requirements:
the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience within a similar role.
full uk driving licence required.
working hours: monday - thursday 8:30 - 17:00, friday 8:30 - 16:00.
in return the company is offering a competitive salary of £12.50 - £13 per hour, depending on experience.
overtime bonus:
additional 5 hours per week overtime = £25 bonus.
attendance bonus:
one full month of attendance = £25 bonus.
