position description

the lis team utilizes a host of different tools in responding to legal requests for user data. the tooling operations team is the team within lis that works with our various stakeholders to ensure our tools are working smoothly - triaging and reporting tooling issues to our engineering and legal technical program management partners, managing tooling-related rollouts, and understanding and advocating for the team’s tooling needs.

the strategy operations team is the team within global affairs that provides programmatic support for the highest priorities across legal - serving as the command center for lis, multiple counsel teams, product engineering, and compliance to engage, design, and execute large-scale programs. as a program manager (pgm) for the tooling and strategy ops teams, you will work closely with our engineering and legal technical teams to maintain and stabilize tooling within lis and build external reporting. you will be ready to roll up your sleeves to provide support on all tooling related issues whenever they come up. 

 

responsibilities

  • support internal users when they experience bugs, outages, or anomalies with tooling. build scalable tools that keep stakeholders informed about the status of reported issues.
  • assist in designing, developing and implementing new and enhanced analytical/forecasting/reporting methods.
  • support remediation and resolution of any non-compliance issues.
  • gather and organize feature requests to support the team’s tooling needs.
  • provide assistance with weekly tooling rollouts. help ensure rollouts are released smoothly to the team.
  • conduct quality-assurance checks and data analyses prior to publishing the  transparency report.

  • experience and interest in working on a broad range of legal matters across multiple markets and regions
  • skill in quickly pivoting to new tasks/responsibilities with limited guidance
  • skill in interacting professionally with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
  • experience in planning and delivering projects
  • experience using analytical tools (e.g., sql) to identify trends and improve processes
