excellent opportunity for a warehouse assistant to join a rapidly expanding company based in tewkesbury
job description
to work in a busy warehouse based in tewkesbury, gloucestershire. you will be preparing goods for shipment, extensive lifting involved therefore knowledge of manual handling safety guidance is required. you will be required to do packing. legible handwriting essential. overtime is sometimes necessary to get goods out of the door and also during stock take.
later you may be required to book goods in and out on a daily basis on our bespoke software system for which training will be given, so strong computer skills are needed.
hours 09:00 to 17:30 with one hour unpaid for lunch.
warehouse areas – a tidy and methodical approach is needed. forklift truck in operation.
safety shoes or boots must be worn – these will be supplied. uniform will be issued after about 4 weeks.
salary £20,000 pa, paid monthly
