1. receive and respond to prescription inquiries from all communication venues: e.g. phone, telephone encounter, department e-mail or fax
2. verifies validity of prescription requests received
3. follow enterprise medication refill protocols
4. document each transaction thoroughly and accurately
5. utilize the electronic medical record to access and document information
6. answer/place outbound other types of calls as needed
7. exhibits excellent customer service skills while providing complete and accurate information to customers
8. adheres to assigned schedule and quality metrics
