night support worker p/t

support worker required to support young people (16yrs+) towards becoming independent with their day-to-day life. this might mean support with finding a job; accessing education or training; manage their finances, registering with the gp, attending appointments/meetings.

previous experience of working with young people is required and it would be an advantage if you have a childcare or relevant qualification. training is provided if necessary.

sleep in duties included.

hours:

fri and sat: (6 – 10pm) + on-call sleep on.

sleep-in b/w 10pm – 8am

occasional hours (as and when req’d) for, meetings/appts –with notice for availability at overtime rate.

the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced disclosure & barring service(dbs) check and you are expected to work as part of a very small friendly, supportive and dedicated team. cost of dbs check will be refunded by the employer.

the hourly pay rate is £9.50 rising to £11.00+ (subject to qualification/satisfactory review).
