digital business analyst gbp45,000 (doe) + bonus + benefits remote/hybrid role up to 1 day per week in solihull office we are seeking an analytical thinker to join our growing team as a digital business analyst. you will work as part of the product development team to help build a global automotive solution to assist in the retailing of cars online. being able to understand regional/market system requirements and interpreting them to enable the creation of a standardised global platform is critical for this role. as part of the product development team, as the digital business analyst you will take ownership to learn and fully understand our digital solutions, including web, internal and external systems, third party software solutions with all their features and benefits. as a digital business analyst, you will also get involved with the coordination of the design, delivery and release and continued aftercare of the digital solutions delivered by the business. inchcape is a leader in the retailing of new & used cars in the uk and around the world. you ll be involved in the development of a wide range of exciting greenfield projects and innovative solutions supporting the business s goal towards online retailing & digital transformation. this position will ideally suit candidates with excellent communication skills who are highly motivated, methodical and passionate about delivering innovative solutions focusing on the user experience with the desired business outcome. a background in automotive systems, vehicle data and vehicle finance would be an advantage. candidates will possess excellent attention to detail and have some experience working with web applications. main responsibilities support the digital product development team in all activities that enables the delivery of our digital and business solutions and features liaise with members of the product and development teams to ensure they are aware of important factors affecting their features, stories, and backlog. liaise with regional and international teams regarding local requirements, interpret and present these as development requirements to the product/development teams. create & maintain documentation necessary to enable technical development and qa testing contribute to all product documentation release notes, user guides, functional descriptions, requirement gathering actively seek and review website/system performance and quality improvements of our web applications learn, understand and breath our digital strategy, business objectives and our customer needs. develop a detailed knowledge of our digital product solutions support the wider digital & business teams with the use of the digital tools and services provided by the digital development team play a key role in communicating between internal teams, departments, acting as a 'translator or champion' where necessary to convey how product features can support the organisation's needs.the ideal candidate experience and understanding of web & software development practices previous automotive web/system development with an understanding of vehicle data and vehicle finance relevant experience or qualifications in agile project management and testing high level of it literacy excellent communication and interpersonal skills excellent attention to detail logical thinker with an analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude strong analytical skills and ability to think outside of the box excellent planning, organisation and time management skills, with ability to multi-task and prioritise organized and methodical in your approach an aptitude for ongoing learning and ability to develop skill sets professional, positive and results oriented approach team player and collaborative attitude respectful of other opinionsabout the companyinchcape is a leading independent global automotive distributor and retailer. we aim to deliver an outstanding customer experience at every one of our franchised dealerships, and to support this all our dealerships have specialist, manufacturer trained staff to ensure you and your car receive the best possible attention. our vision: to be the world s most trusted automotive distributor. inchcape is ambitious! we are pursuing a strategy of growth, both organically and by acquisition, across the globe. we have a number of exciting opportunities for equally ambitious talent. we are excited about the future. could we be a part of your future plans too?
