our client a mature couple, are seeking a quiet, caring, discreet self employed housekeeper for their main residence in a beautiful small village, located 5 kms from chipping norton and 5 kms from stow-on-the-wold.
the property comprises 4 bedrooms across a large 3 story modern style property, with a small garden office.
you will be energetic, possess a real eye for detail, organisation skills with meticulous cleaning standards, along with good timekeeping.
duties: housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, flower arranging, stock control and shopping, general errands, sweeping outside, watering indoor plants etc.
hours / days: 5 hours per day, 4 days a week (mon, tue, thu, fri) = total of 20 hours
contract / salary: self employed, 20 hours p/wk @ £20 p/hr paid weekly.
additional hours can be offered at 2 other family properties at same hourly rate, with petrol monies reimbursed for travel to the properties below, therefore a clean driving licence and car is essential:
a single occupancy modern light flat in central oxford - requires cleaning every 2-3 weeks (current tenant is son).
a 2 bedroom luxurious modern top floor holiday apartment in lymington (2-hour drive from cotswolds) - requires cleaning every 6 weeks (family holiday property).
this would suit a housekeeper with private household and/or 5* hotel experience with recent and checkable references, along with a current dbs.
