we are seeking enthusiastic and experienced security officers to work as part of our estates, health and safety team during the term time.

as a key member of our security team, you will be equally comfortable working alone and using your own initiative. you will have a strong commitment to ensuring safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our learners, in order to provide a safe and secure environment for our students, staff and visitors.

a good understanding and awareness of current security environments and the ability to deal with a variety of situations in a calm and professional manner is key.

you will have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to build appropriate and professional relationships with staff and students and be able to quickly assess situations and take the appropriate actions to defuse and manage a range of situations.

experience of working in a similar environment or with young people is preferred.

a flexible approach to working hours is required. the team provide security services across the college's operational hours by working a variable shift basis (daytime and evenings only) covering monday to sunday.

we can offer you the facilities of a college campus set in 7 acres of green belt in a peaceful setting with excellent transport links. we are in a location convenient to london and the south east with a large free on-site car park.

this role is employed through nescot enterprises ltd, a whole owned subsidiary of nescot which operates different terms and conditions.
