R d packaging lab technician - united states, pasadena (california)
an r&d packaging lab technician role in calabasas, ca is now available through adecco medical and science. in this role, you will provide addition support to the retail hair color r&d packaging team to assist on initiatives/ongoing work-related requirements as instructed. please note that this a minimum 1-year contact/temp position starting in october 2022.
key responsibilities
provide addition support to the retail hair color r&d packaging team to assist on initiatives as instructed, including
package testing following established lab procedures & properly document and communicate results
populate/update specifications in the system
bill of materials (boms) and coding
package testing coordination and data entry
liaison with both internal and external partners to collect data/documents. as needed with direction.
maintain documents used to store data, team share drive access, etc.
manage, update and maintain the packaging physical library, plus common working area and storages.
create spreadsheet tools and trackers as requested that can benefit to manage the team’s work, data, etc.
assist on packing shipments, competitive analysis, data collection, maintaining levels of packaging inventory, simple searches, and other similar tasks as assigned and able.
maintain organization and cleanliness of the lab and storage areas.
qualifications
package engineering degree preferred or other bachelor of science/engineering degree with lab testing experience.
minimum proficiency in microsoft excel, powerpoint, and word with the capacity to increase mastery with experience/training.
detail-oriented and good data organization skills.
technically precise and eager to learn technical details.
ability to work with structured data specifications.
team player with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
ability to work independently.
