responsibilities for a blending manufacturer position include, but are not limited to:
weigh and add ingredients to kettles (liquid & dry raw materials) for each batch of product according to the product formulation.
must be comfortable working with large machinery, boilers, kettles, mixers, burners, and drums/pallets of a variety of chemicals
accurately and neatly complete required batch sheet/work-order documentation.
maintain equipment, pumps, motors, valves etc in good working condition by proper storge, sanitizing and minor maintenance as required.
follow all gmp, sop and food safety (sqf) production guidelines.
ensure proper storage of all tooling, equipment, and supplies, including all raw materials and finished good products.
collect new product samples and perform initial qc product testing to ensure the product meets established qc parameters.
perform final packaging and label of finished good drums and totes.
to be considered for a blending manufacturer position, you should:
3 years prior experience
ability to lift and/or move up to 55 lbs. stand, bend & twist up to 8 hours a day.
maintain good work ethics and always present a positive attitude.
maintain a clean working environment, with visitors ready at all times.
must have a high school diploma or ged, preferred: bachelor’s degree in science
shift is monday – friday: 12:30pm-9:00pm-ot may be required
