modern and casual dining restaurant opso is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced lead hostess to join our team, to work with us on a full-time basis (an approximate 45 hours per week on a 5-working-days pattern).

being well presented and having a good command of english is a must.

the host or hostess job description includes maintaining a good flow of the pace of the guests as well as keeping the reception desk clean and organised at all times.

the first duty when getting to work is making sure that it is organised and ready for operation.

plan out the seating chart and organise the reservations
confirm the reservations for the entire shift
check with phone and email reservations to assure that all reservations are noted
make sure all menus are clean
greet guests with a warm and genuine attitude of welcoming
escort guests to their table
organise the following day's reservations, seating plans and confirm as many reservations as you can
attend to guests’ queries
offering a warm farewell to guests upon leaving and thanking them.
