Quality inspector - united states, houston

inspects products/processes in the assembly area to ensure compliance with engineering drawing, company standards and customer requirements.  reports quality data for use in reporting and corrective action.  works to identify and eliminate defects.  responsible for ensuring only acceptable products are shipped to customers by using inspection skills and knowledge.

  • product inspection
  • willingness to be a safety, quality and delivery role model for other mahindra usa employees
  • ability to follow pdi inspection process for assigned stations
  • visual acuity to distinguish between colors, textures and to recognize defects of varying size
  • familiarity with mobile software, tablet navigation and data entry
  • effective defect description
  • good working knowledge of the functionality of tractors and implements
  • willingness to collaborate with production personnel in determining root cause and appropriate corrective action
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to communicate across adjacent levels of employees
  • affinity for excellent internal and external customer service
  • ability to understand written and verbal instruction

    requirements:  experience in the following elements school diploma or ged

  • 2 years of mechanical assembly experience
  • ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in english
