Cnc millers & turners - united kingdom, havant, hampshire

gi group are recruiting for a number of cnc millers & turners required to work for our client in the havant area.

- immediate start

- havant

- £10.89 to £14.16 per hour with potential overtime

- double days 06:00 to 14:00 & 14:00 to 22:00 monday to friday (37.5 hours a week)

- 4 on 4 off shift 12 hour shifts

- long term ongoing assignments

manufacturing products to tight quality standards using various mazak & chiron, fms machines.

experience required

the ability to interpret engineering drawings whilst insuring that parts are conforming to client specifications and standards

have worked in a busy machine shop working to tight lead times

making minor program edits and offset adjustments

working with minimum supervision

programming and quality checking equipment is essential throughout the manufacturing process

operating, loading and unloading machines

identifying mistakes as they occur and take the necessary measures to eliminate errors

inspect all finished products for accuracy and uniformity

desirable

you will have a minimum of two years current cnc operating experience in a mechanical engineering environment

good troubleshooting and proven problem-solving skills
