as a member of the global communications & public affairs team, you will work cross-functionally to help develop internal communications materials and devise specific communications materials to connect employees with core’s mission and strategy.

we're looking for great communicators who can understand complex issues and explain them in person, as well as in well-written messaging documents, executive bylines, faqs, and more. it's our job to help inform and educate employees about the benefits of our product and our distinctive company culture/values. 

to succeed here, you'll need to be able to manage a complex group of stakeholders, combine creativity with the organizational skills to manage numerous different projects to tight deadlines simultaneously, and produce internal communications and events for our employees. 

things happen quickly here, to get stuff done here you need to be an enthusiastic team player who can work cross-functionally and isn't afraid to take risks or try out new ways of doing things.

 

responsibilities

  • partner with the internal communications co-leads to develop and implement internal communication programs that drive awareness and understanding and connect employees to critical business, product or culture decisions.
  • effectively draft, edit and collaborate on communications for a large-scale organization, including emails, internal news stories, key narratives, talking points and slide presentations.
  • create content for org-wide team meetings and bi-weekly newsletter on a regular basis.
  • measure and analyze communications efforts for their effectiveness against stated goals.
  • skill/experience/education

    mandatory

  • ba/bs degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of relevant internal / executive communications, journalism, marketing, policy, consulting or pr experience.
  • experience writing for and working directly with senior leaders.
  • desired

  • proven communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with colleagues across many functions, and in different countries/understand cultural differences.
  • demonstrated ability to work calmly and maintain good judgment in fast-paced environments.
  • ability to think, plan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion.
  • ability to capture the voice of leadership and communicate complex, technical concepts in a clear and compelling way.
