our client is a well-established, forward-thinking accountants based in lincoln, providing quality accounting and payroll services to a variety of clients locally and nationally. due to growth, they have a vacancy for an experienced para planner.

purpose of the para planner role:

to offer the most efficient, professional and effective client financial service possible with a high focus on quality and accuracy.

para planner responsibilities:

analysing client's circumstances, portfolios and objectives and preparing appropriate recommendation reports for the adviser

providing high quality technical, administrative and research support to the adviser

undertaking whole-of-market research as required, including investments, pensions and protection plans

undertaking research for asset allocation on clients' existing portfolios, quantifying and analysing those clients' existing investments

ensuring that our internal systems and controls are compliant

building strong and effective working relationships with other teams in the firm and third-party product providers

attending seminars, internal meetings and training courses to ensure harmonious relations and cpd

ensuring that all client records and data are maintained accurately and efficiently

reconciling monthly income and completing fca rmar reports by due dates

the perfect para planner will be:

ambitious and goal orientated

have an adaptable and flexible approach to work within a changing environment

experienced in using adviser office, intelligent office, defacto, o&m or iress software

have previous experience dealing with the administration of group life and pension schemes

experienced within private wealth management

have the ability to produce comprehensive, accurate and clear recommendation reports using a combination of standard paragraphs and free text

experienced in analysing clients' circumstances and objectives in order to provide suitable holistic financial advice

proficient in complex report writing

qualifications required for the perfect para planner:

cii diploma in financial planning or regulated financial

planning or working towards attaining the cii diploma
