responsibilities for the assistant director of nursing (adon) job:
• supervise the day-to-day activities of the facility in accordance with the current federal, state, and local standards as well as regulations that govern our facility
• ensure that all reference materials maintained at the nurse’s stations are current and recommend written material that will assist the nursing department in meeting the needs of the residents
• admit, transfer, and discharge residents. periodically review the resident's written discharge plan and update the resident's written discharge plan as required
• complete accident/incident reports as necessary
qualifications:
• rn with 5+ years of supervisory experience and long-term care experience
• licensed rn in nc or multi-state rn
• bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
