we are seeking a team leader to provide day to day line management of staff in a busy homeless services team. this is a key post - you need to be upbeat and enthusiastic, with the drive to make change happen and the resilience to handle sensitive and challenging situations.

you will need to be solution focused and self-motivated, as well as being able to encourage and support the team to carry their demanding roles. you will be responsible for performance management and be expected to contribute to service improvement on our journey of good to great.

excellent customer care skills are essential, and you must value and respect people with different life experiences and backgrounds whether they are people you work for or those you work with.

you will provide support to the head of homeless services, deputising when required.

experience of working within a homelessness setting and knowledge of the homelessness reduction act is an advantage.
