Bench joiner - united kingdom, harlow, essex
we are a small, but rapidly growing joinery company and looking to expand our dedicated team producing high end bespoke cabinetry and furniture. we pride ourselves in our exacting standards and attention to detail and due to an increase in upcoming work we are looking for a like-minded person to join the team on a full time basis.
as a bench joiner at dexes bespoke furniture, typical duties include:
manufacturing of fitted wardrobes, bookcases, home offices, alcove units, etc.
processing mainly sheet material and assembling parts together.
preparing joinery for spraying and also fitting ironmongery when needed.
filling, sanding and finishing products.
use both hand and power tools.
the ideal candidate should have the following requirements:
machinery experience including table saws, routers, spindles etc
ability to produce work to a high standard.
able to work as part of a small team.
an understanding of drawings, cutting lists, and specification sheets
experience of working as a joiner/cabinet maker for a minimum of 5 years.
willingness to grow and develop within the company
meet deadlines and have a good eye for detail.
own transport to be able to get to work without relying on public transport
own hand tools
