adecco is currently assisting a local client in recruiting for warehouse machine operators in fall river, ma. these roles are temp to perm opportunities, with starting pay rates of $15-$16.50 per hour depending on experience with a $2.00 shift differential. opportunities for overtime also! for instant consideration, apply now!

responsibilities:
practicing safe work habits when alone or with team
adhere to guidelines related to ppe (personal protective equipment), know safety equipment, and be aware of machine safety procedures
willing and able to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
cut, sew, and package products according to the requirements on the bill of material/customer specifications.
read the bill of materials to determine each job's requirements.
load sewing machine with the correct product and thread based on bill of material requirements.
set the sewing machine computer according to the requirements on the bill of material.
affix shrink tubes, hardware, labels, and similar fittings if required per the bill of materials.
coordinate with the quality lab to process sample products for batch approval
monitor quality closely
replace the sewing machine's needle, as required.
detect and repair basic faults with the sewing machine as they occur.
troubleshoot possible fixes when quality issues arise.
skills & experience:
an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
ability to read and write in english
ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
ability to push/pull 30lbs repeatedly
basic mathematical principles such as length, diameter, weights and counts
ability to adapt quickly to a consistently changing environment
