adecco is hiring immediately for tig welders with a local client in newark, de. these individuals perform essential duties with pay starting at $27.00/hour.
key functions:
read and interpret work instructions to determine specific welding requirements
weld horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions
positions and clamps parts together in fixtures
accurately count all pieces to ensure quality control of parts prior to welding
operate welding equipment according to operating manual
complete required paperwork in a correct and timely manner
operate hoist and power lift stand
load and unload jigs
perform leak testing checks on finished welding products
fabricate components for use in a solid oxide fuel cell electrical power generator
maintain all machine shop equipment and 5s upkeep
create assembly and fabrication fixtures
address and recommend improved methods for creating hardware and assemblies
perform other duties as assigned
requirements:
high school diploma or ged
1+ year of experience in tig welding, both dc and ac (gtaw), pulsed tig welding (gtaw-p), stick welding (smaw) and oxy acetylene torch experience
experience interpreting welding prints
welding certification preferred
