rhino health inc is a leading manufacturer of nitrile rubber gloves in the usa and is experiencing rapid growth. we are seeking a packing team member based in our dfw location.

responsibilities:

  • operate industrial machinery.
  • read, understand, and interpret work instructions, written or verbal, to complete assembly of products or components according to established guidelines, instructions, procedures, and quality standards.
  • read, learn, understand, and comply with safety and company process and procedures.
  • report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to production supervisor.
  • maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
  • practice problem solving and troubleshooting techniques as part of a team responsible for realizing continuous improvement to products and processes.
  • perform quality work checks to ensure product meets quality standards.
  • identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects identified.
  • rework and/or repair assembled product according to engineering specification changes.
  • maintain inventory of products in work areas. 
  • cross train to other departments as needed.
     
  • skills and abilities:

  • knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • must speak english.
  • able to read, understand and follow written instructions or apply specifications and standards to determine conformance of product.
  • regularly perform repetitive tasks
  • regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately using good hand-eye coordination.
  • ability to frequently sit, stand, walk for up to 12 hours and reach within hands and arm’s length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • ability to regularly lift and move up to up to 40 pounds.
  • specific vision abilities include close/distance/peripheral vision and color perception.
  • ability to commit to shift work including nights, overtime, holiday and weekend and prompt arrival for shifts.
  • must be able to communicate to others to convey information effectively.
  •  

    competencies:

  • high school diploma or equivalent.
  • must have some manufacturing related experience with good attendance, job performance, and teaming skills. 
  • reading and comprehending skills needed to be able to follow written and oral directions/instructions.
  • high attention to detail and self-motivation skills.
  • payrate: $18.00/hr
