an assistant butcher position is available in a busy east london shop.
the ideal candidate will have:
fluent english
numeracy skills
excellent customer service
attention to detail
ability to work under pressure
well presented
excellent hygiene standards/pride in their work
flexibility with working hours (would suit someone living local)
experience within the meat industry is an advantage
willingness to learn new skills - training can be provided to the right candidate
must be able to work as part of a team
this position would suit someone who ideally has previous experience within the meat industry or retail., however training to the right candidate will be provided. the ideal candidate will be expected to be proactive working both alone and alongside team members with a positive 'can do' attitude. serving customers is of great importance, we pride ourselves on providing each customer with an excellent experience and good quality products. the candidate must serve customers promptly and efficiently, preparing packaged goods and replenishing stock alongside maintaining a clean and safe environment.
