strategy and operations lead
project overview:
as a strategy and operations lead, you will be part of a team providing deep project leadership to solve strategic questions in the gtech organization. this role will require you to develop solutions to complex, ambiguous and high-visibility business problems and opportunities.
you will work in close partnership with gtech industry teams and strategy and operations colleagues across the regions. you’re collaborative, data-driven, analytical problem solver who is able to effectively lead and manage multiple workstreams, projects, and stakeholders across timezones on a global scale. you will be working with key partners across gtech to lead and support a mix of strategic and operational projects. you will also support the development of plans and recommendations for global and regional projects
overall responsibilities:
project manage major strategic initiatives across multiple teams (operations, technology, analytics)
proactively engage company-wide stakeholders on initiatives (e.g. projects that cross-operations and policy)
provide strategic analytical insights and frameworks to drive projects and initiatives forward
launch and land organizational change management plans for mid- to long-term transformative initiatives (reorganization of teams / business planning and allocation)
support business teams on service transformations, operational rigor, organizational initiatives and helping chart out and fulfill big bets for the business in line with the leadership’s strategic vision.
define, launch and drive strategic and analytical initiatives to directly and indirectly improve customer experience, improve internal and external facing processes and operations, working closely with cross-functional teams, executive stakeholders, and senior leadership.
problem solve with senior leaders to deliver strategic insights and recommendations based on business analyses.
collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in annual business planning, headcount management, key organizational metrics, and other operationally strategic projects.
identify gaps and propose changes to existing policy, systems and process frameworks; develop scalable solutions and develop best practices that are a benefit across the organization.
skill/experience/education
mandatory
bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
3-5 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, sales operations, or equivalent experience in a technology/media company.
experience in stakeholder management.
desired
advanced degree (mba, master's) in a related field (business, legal, marketing, finance, technical)
knowledge of best practices in business operations, knowledge of service operations, customer support operations, internet/online media
superb problem-solving skills with experience executing complex strategic and operational initiatives
proven ability to work with different team members to design processes and implement strategic projects that solve business problems.
experience implementing strategic and large scale initiatives projects in a demanding, change-oriented, fast-paced environment requiring a high degree of deadline-driven productivity.
high proficiency with structuring strategic analysis and messaging using spreadsheets and presentations.
