reed engineering are currently recruiting on behalf of a global leader in specialised industrial applications. their expertise is in technical and scientific innovative solutions. they are seeking a product engineer to support manufacturing in meeting production output, on time delivery (otd) whilst adhering to strict quality standards in their magnetron engineering team provides full product lifecycle support across a portfolio of vacuum devices, used in commercial, defence and novel applications.
responsibilities:
working alongside other functions, support manufacturing to achieve business objectives/kpisimplementing short- and long- term solutions utilising engineering change management processesimplement and sustain documentation adhering to iso9001 standardsplan and implement continuous improvement activities, challenge convention where necessary required experience and skills:
experience in an engineering role in a manufacturing environmentproven ability to design jigging.a working knowledge in at least one of the following: electrical assembly, mechanical assembly, manufacturing or rf testing.demonstrable experience in technical report writing benefits
