Hair stylist - united kingdom, preston, devon

up and coming salon opening soon – requiring a level 2 qualified stylist with some salon experience for a part time or full time role to start approximately in november.

free training will be given to the chosen candidate including all hairdressing aspects and hair extensions. candidate does not have to be fully experienced in colouring etc as training will be provided and full support in all areas. the role would involve things to begin with such as;

taking clients jackets/coats & seating them making sure they are comfortable or if they need anything for example any drinks.
reception duties – answering the phone, checking out clients and bookings
cleaning & organising
washing client’s hair & toner applications
blowdrying
marketing and social media
blow-drying
ongoing training

saturdays are a must but will be off sundays & mondays.

experience:

stylist: 1 year (preferred)
hairdressing: 1 year (preferred)

licence/certification:

hairdressing nvq/svq level 2 (preferred)

job types: full-time, part-time

part-time hours: 40 per week

salary: £6.83-£9.50 per hour
