hours - monday to friday 37.50 hours per week - 9am until 5.30pm

gi group are working with a market leading pioneering recycling company who are part of a global organisation and the site is based in heanor

this role sits within the plaswood re-manufacturing division, which is one of the most environmentally conscious products on the market.

purpose of the sales development manager role:

the position will be reporting directly to the general manager to support the business in the achievement of its commercial aims. working closely with the production team, procurement, quality, warehouse and distribution team.

to support the business growth through existing and new business development, increasing sales and volumes.

* build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities

* update progress on the crm system

* support in writing business proposals

* identify, win and develop new business opportunities on a national basis

* monitor sales data and performance

* follow company guidelines and procedures for acquisition of customers, submission of tenders etc

* proactively develop accounts

* experience of working within a customer service focused position
