a leading glass production company is looking for reliable general production and warehouse operatives to join their professional team.

£17,499 - £21,700 per year

our client is a leading independent company in the flat glass industry, producing and distributing toughened safety glass and other glass products. their manufacturing facility is fully equipped with state of the art tempering furnaces and a wide range of glass processing machinery, all operated by fully trained and skilled technicians. they strive to provide high quality products with first class reliable service to exceed their customers’ expectations.

they are currently recruiting general production and warehouse operatives for shift work.

working hours (on a weekly rota basis):

early shift 7.00 am to 3.30 pm late shift 3.30 pm to 12.00 pm overtime available.



duties and responsibilities:

working in our client's glass cutting, arrissing and toughening departments and in other areas such as glass processing, loading and unloading. assisting with other aspects of production work as required.



about you:

the role requires:

someone who is reliable and consistent in all duties. good and careful manual handling of products. attention to detail and a good appreciation of the importance of quality. time management skills and working efficiently to tight deadlines. flexible in relation to overtime working. the ability to work well as part of a team as well as on your own initiative. someone who is able to commute to birmingham b32 for every scheduled shift.



please note: manufacturing experience would be an advantage but not essential.
