Accounts receivable rep - united states, durham

adecco is hiring for an accounts receivable representative in durham, nc for an immediate start in october! please click apply now for consideration. 

duration: 2-3 month project

work schedule: monday- friday from 8:00 am -5:00pm with a 1 hour lunch break. 

pay-rate: $18.00- $20.00 an hour

summary: accounts receivable representative will keep track of assigned accounts to identify debts, plan course of action to recover payment, heavy phone activity with customers, locating and contacting debtors regarding payment status, negotiate payment plans, payoff deadlines, handling questions or complaints, updating database, alerting supervisors of customers unwilling to unable to pay while complying with requirements.

preferred experience:

candidates with accuracy/attention to detail

sap and as400 

excellent internal and external customer service skills 

qualifications: 

highschool diploma or ged

2 years' collections experience

ability to use confidential information in a professional manner to achieve collection targets/goals

proficient ms office (word, outlook and excel) and internet/intranet use
