responsibilities for cell operator positions include but are not limited to:
operate cnc lathes to machine parts per specifications and tooling instructions applying knowledge of machining methods.
read blueprints for product specifications, dimensions, and tolerances.
observe operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined part to specifications, using micrometers, comparator, tool makers, and oasis.
understand and perform all work instructions.
this position works closely with the cnc machinist.
must accurately enter all information requested into mrp/erp system
perform other duties as assigned.
2nd shift: monday-thursday: 3:30pm - 1:30am
qualifications:
must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
may need to stand for extended periods of time.
must have 20/20 correctable vision
must be able to speak and hear well enough to communicate effectively
