Cnc lead machinist - united states, carlsbad

adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a cnc lead machinist. this position is a temp to hire opportunity working a 4/10 schedule! this role is responsible for ensuring production cell is actively engaged to meet daily customer demand and production schedule. you will provide effective training to the productions cell and ensures safety and quality standards are maintained always and run production by using a variety of hand tools, fixtures, work instructions and inspection equipment to perform a series of operations correctly. if you meet the qualifications listed below or eager to work – apply now!

 

responsibilities for this job includes:  

• work with production supervisor/manager and other team leads to manage and prioritize staffing assignments to ensure customer demand and the production schedule are met.
• execute and coordinate employee training to ensure that procedures are followed and meet all quality requirements.
• use basic problem-solving skills to ensure stable operation of the work cell.
• report problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment, materials and labor to production supervisor/manager
• observe, maintain, coordinate and complete standard work.
• identify and support continuous improvement efforts with production supervisor/manager
• participate as an active member of the production team and run product.
• follow documented policies and procedures as designed by the company’s quality system.
• follow detailed production instructions, processes, and procedures.
• complete required documentation relating to business or regulatory requirements.
• maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
• must accurately enter all information requested into mrp/erp system

must have 5 years of manufacturing experience

must have a working knowledge of cnc programming

accurate, detailed oriented and quality conscious

must be able to lift 25 – 50 lbs
