case aide summary:

the youth care worker will perform the duties and responsibilities for unaccompanied alien children (uac) and family units (fmua). the caregiver shall maintain a safe environment, observing and encouraging adherence to safety rules and health guidelines. this will include assisting with the general care of children performed at a level of quality and according to industry safety standards commensurate with those required of caregivers employed at state-licensed daycare facilities.

primary responsibilities:

  • support case manager in delivery and coordination of skills-building programming, homework and tutorial assistance, and recreational activities for youth
  • provide personal care and toileting for children. basic hygiene and infection control.
  • maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment for children.
  • tend to basic first aid and emergency procedures.
  • notify case worker or designee immediately in the event of a youth crisis, suspected illegal activity or any other youth or program incident.
  • required qualifications:

  • high school diploma or equivalent.
  • u.s. citizen or legal permanent resident
  • bilingual spanish and english (read, write and speak)
  • minimum age of 18 years old.
  • must pass a background check and drug screening.
  • valid driver's license.
