case aide summary:
the youth care worker will perform the duties and responsibilities for unaccompanied alien children (uac) and family units (fmua). the caregiver shall maintain a safe environment, observing and encouraging adherence to safety rules and health guidelines. this will include assisting with the general care of children performed at a level of quality and according to industry safety standards commensurate with those required of caregivers employed at state-licensed daycare facilities.
primary responsibilities:
support case manager in delivery and coordination of skills-building programming, homework and tutorial assistance, and recreational activities for youth
provide personal care and toileting for children. basic hygiene and infection control.
maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment for children.
tend to basic first aid and emergency procedures.
notify case worker or designee immediately in the event of a youth crisis, suspected illegal activity or any other youth or program incident.
required qualifications:
high school diploma or equivalent.
u.s. citizen or legal permanent resident
bilingual spanish and english (read, write and speak)
minimum age of 18 years old.
must pass a background check and drug screening.
valid driver's license.
