we are assisting a local client in recruiting for a current accounts receivables/payables clerk in chico.  this is for a long-term permanent opportunity.  as an accounts receivables/payables clerk, you will accurately record all receivable transactions, provide management with updated information regarding late paying customers, reconciliations, and credit information on new customers.  if you meet the qualifications listed below, please apply now!

pay for this position starts at 18.00/hour

responsibilities for this job include:

process all sales invoices to ensure accuracy

process customers required submission process.

coordinate returns with qa, customer service and shipping department, ensuring proper paper trail

process as cash receipts, credit card and deposits into great plains.

make collection calls on delinquent accounts.

maintain posting documentation for accounts receivables files.

maintain customer files.

review and process new customer credit requests

edi transactions-download orders, invoice, maintain edi

prepare monthly invoice ledgers from great plains

maintain daily shipping info

back up customer service/receptionist duties

general office duties as requested by management.

qualifications:

basic accounting knowledge

good multitasking skills

work and focus in small office environment

customer focused, team player

proficient with multiple client portals

strong written and verbal communication skills

high school diploma or ged

at least 2 years ar or ap experience
