الوصف الوظيفي sr. procurement engineer (civil/arch.) responsible for planning, developing and buying materials and equipment's in a timely and cost effective way; timely manner while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications. perform market studies and price forecasting and achieves annual cost savings targets and drive procurement best practices and procedures evaluates and verifies vendor/ supplier offers from a technical and commercial point of view, undergoes price bid analysis, and provides recommendations to management for finalization. receive quotations and prepare comparison statements both technical & commercial coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery in full to issue the necessary orders of materials after checking prices, delivery prepare periodic reports for procurement schedules, and materials/subcontract approval status. maintain an accurate procurement log for future analysis and improvement of the purchasing activities follow up with all vendors for receiving the quotation for all project materials consult with internal business partners to resolve supplier performance issues identifies long lead material and schedules purchases accordingly identifies potential problems related to materials for the projects and recommends suitable remedial measures evaluate business opportunities to maximize cost savings, providing the required quality and service and the greatest supplier capabilities. source, negotiate and leverage contracts with large scale suppliers, contractors to gain appropriate savings and service levels. negotiate contracts with contractors who meet the company’s requirements to secure the most favorable terms of business for the company other procurement related duties assigned by the direct manager المهارات education & experience: bachelor of engineering (architectural/civil) from reputed college minimum 8 years of experience preferably with a main contracting companies in gulf region experience of high rise buildings will be an added advantage excellent communication and negotiation skills competencies: -ability to critique and understand vast amounts of data. -developing and managing a procurement process. -positive, confident, and friendly demeanors with a high level of integrity. -confident in presenting to decision-makers in both public and private organizations. key performance area : - materials submittals (mar), tender analysis, vendors, supplier registration, prices comparison and material submittals (mar-pqd). تفاصيل الوظيفة منطقة الوظيفة مكة المكرمة, المملكة العربية السعودية قطاع الشركة البناء والتشييد طبيعة عمل الشركة صاحب عمل (القطاع الخاص) الدور الوظيفي المشتريات نوع التوظيف دوام كامل الراتب الشهري غير محدد عدد الوظائف الشاغرة 1 المرشح المفضل عدد سنوات الخبرة الحد الأدنى: 8
