Fixed asset accountant - support office - united kingdom, faversham, kent

the role:

we are looking for a fixed asset accountant to process asset requests, process monthly settlements of tangible fixed asset projects and support the central finance team. the successful candidate will have great attention to detail and have the ability to develop a sound commercial understanding of the wider business.

key responsibilities

process asset requests on a daily basisprocess monthly settlements of completed tangible fixed asset projectsassist with the recharging of project costs where requiredprocess asset disposals as requiredprocess impairment of fixed assets as requiredreconcile the fixed asset register to the general ledger report on fixed asset additions, disposals and depreciation for the boardassist with analysis of fixed asset additions and disposals for corporation tax purposespreparation of the capital expenditure, disposal and depreciation budgetssettlements of functional locations, events and customers monthlyprepare estates expenditure budgetsreport of performance versus estates expenditure budget as requiredassist with year-end tasks relating to fixed assets including preparation of the fixed assets notemaintain a schedule of assets held for salead hoc assistance for the financial planning and reporting manager skills & experience

working towards a professional account qualification (i.e.cima) relevant professional experienceexcellent it skills including excel and powerpoint
