adecco is currently assisting a leading cincinnati institution in their search for a research technician in the cincinnati, ivorydale area!
as a research technician, you would be responsible for running laundry and visual tests for batch runs. this is a long-term contractor opportunity, there is not an end date, you would continuously work as a contractor on-site at our client’s location.
location: ivorydale – cincinnati, oh
schedule: full time – monday- friday 8am-430pm
rates: pay $ 18.00
essential duties & responsibilities for a research technician:
to perform directed batch making, run laundry and visual tests.
to setup requested laundry test methods to fill the gap of missing personal to our group currently.
qualify for and perform routine validated test methodologies on 1 or 2 relevant methods.
gain direction from team leader and/or supervisor on work assignments
conduct all assigned work in compliance with safety and quality requirements
process and post all technical data to the submission tracking and database system
communicate instrumentation issues to team leaders and/or technician.
requires standing on your feet for long periods and completing repetitive tasks.
minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required:
associates degree with scientific discipline and/or equivalent experience
experience applying routine laboratory methods and techniques (1-2 years)
computer competency - preferred
high attention to details
strong organization skills with attention to detail
strong time management skills
working knowledge and experience within microsoft outlook, word, and excel
team player with a positive attitude
comfortable with repetitive work
must have excellent computer skills
focus on high level of quality
must be familiar with working in a lab environment and used to running strict routine tests
