as lemon continues to grow, we are looking for motivated individuals to join our busy steel reinforcement production team and help us drive the company forwards.

we welcome applicants with existing steel reinforcement experience. however, we are also happy to invest in training and development for the right driven individual new to the industry.

job purpose:

our production team is responsible for ensuring that lemon can deliver the service to our customers, our production operatives must work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of our cut and bent facility, ensuring we produce a high-quality finished product within our deadlines all the while ensuring high health and standards are maintained at all times

the job role:

the job is of an incredibly varied nature, and team members will be asked to rotate between various tasks throughout the day. subject to training these tasks will include

operating overhead cranes
driving forklifts, reach trucks or side loaders
operating automatic stirrup bending machines
cutting product to size using abrasive wheels
bending steel using manual bending machines
operating manual cutting lines
carrying out safety and maintenance checks
other tasks as required due to business needs

the position is of a manual nature and involves lifting and handling of steel whilst working outside in all weathers with minimal cover.

you will report on a daily basis to the production foreman and operations manager and paid overtime will be required during busy periods

working hours:

standard hours are monday to friday 6:30am - 16:00pm

must have availability for overtime when required monday – friday between 05:30am - 17:00pm. overtime is paid at time and a half.

the candidate:

the successful candidate need not be fully experienced; however, they must have the drive and self-motivation to learn the various skills required to be a successful member of the team.
