Spectrometer operator - united states, st. charles (missouri)

3rd shift, 7p-5a  $21/hr

adecco is assisting our client in pevely, mo in finding a motivated spectrometer operator with experience. this individual will perform chemical, mechanical and metallurgical testing to calculate furnace additions.

job requirements:

basic math (decimals, fractions)

basic reading (interpret and follow procedures)

basic writing (work instructions, process writing)

computer skills (ms word, excel, spc)

time management and organizational skills

general knowledge of the foundry

job responsibilities

calculate charges

run chemistries

calculate additions

pull tensile bars

manage movement of tensile bars through the foundry

produce test reports

maintain spectrometer as well as leco analyzers by dis-assembling and cleaning

prepare metallurgical samples

process samples for outside labs
