adecco is recruiting for an hr assistant in la vergne, tn

responsibilities:

provide hr administrative and clerical support to human resources department, including processing hr- and payroll-related forms and requests, assisting with data entry and maintenance, and handling new hire orientations and benefit enrollment.

help maintain positive employee relations and help ensure that employees are treated fairly and equitably.

provide superior customer service to employees and assist them with hr issues and inquiries.

assist with hr activities, including recruitment, training, compensation, promotion, termination, performance management, and career development.

assist with creating, implementing, administering, and/or communicating hr policies, procedures, and initiatives.

help manage contingent workforce and associated manpower requirements; reconcile staffing agency invoices with approved hours and submit to accounts payable.

assist with benefits enrollment process and benefit changes

conduct hr related training as needed

administer random and reasonable suspicion drug testing

assist with administration of leaves of absence and in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

assist with timecard oversight to ensure accurate and timely processing for all employees.

assist with creating and maintaining employee files and other applicable hr documentation, helping to ensure legal compliance.

assist with workers’ compensation injuries/claims and associated follow up.

create, maintain and submit hr statistical and weekly/monthly reports in an accurate and timely manner.

skills:

• proficiency with ms office suite
• experience with hris/payroll systems preferred
• high degree of detail, accuracy, and personal accountability
• ability to communicate professionally and work effectively with all levels of employees

qualifications:

• high school diploma or equivalent (associates/bachelors in related field preferred)
• bilingual – spanish
• two years experience in hr administration or related field (in a manufacturing environment preferred)
