with locations throughout scotland, cr smith is scotland's leading home improvement company. we have a highly recognisable and established brand that is synonymous with quality. due to continuous sales growth and an ongoing commitment towards our unique customer service philosophy, we have a new opportunity for a customer service coordinator within our customer service department operating from our head office in dunfermline.
you will be responsible for the day to day management of service in a designated area:
managing all daily service enquiries, including taking some incoming calls
liaising with all relevant stakeholders to ensure a timely response to any issues arising, this is mainly customers, suppliers, tradesmen, senior managers etc
extensive management of logistics and planning to optimise efficiency
working with the operations management team on the development and implementation of new systems to improve efficiency and service standards
supporting the operations management team on the delivery of key targets
we are looking for a proactive and resilient customer service co-ordinator specialist who has great interpersonal, communication and relationship skills. you will need to be an assertive, confident and positive person with excellent planning and customer service skills. someone who has previous customer service co-ordination experience could be well suited to this type of role. ideally educated to degree level (preferred but not essential), candidates without formal qualifications who have relevant work experience will also be considered.
