Rotating shift line envoy - united kingdom, solihull, west midlands

gigroup are looking for a candidate who will be able to meet the following requirements

 load klt's in a set format on to delivery tugs, ensuring to check for presence of klt labels, mixed condition stock and overflowing klt's.

 drive delivery tug around the site to specific racks and points of fit within build halls.

 delivery of klt's to points of fit, diligently checking every klt is being placed on to the correct rack.

 report back to senior envoy/supervisor if any missing / damaged barcodes or header boards are found while delivering klt's.

 always stick to site guidelines to represent the company in a positive manner.

 collect empty klt's when visiting each rack on a delivery.

 order replenishment klt's for the next shift to deliver via handheld scanners.

 perform stock counts as part of a team when required.

 perform running changes when required and instructed to do so by a senior member of staff.

 undertake daily checks on mhe before the first delivery, reporting any issues found.

 be responsible for the radio and scanner assigned to you, these are signed in and out at the beginning and end of all shifts.

 must be comfortable and able to work alone and as well as part of a team.

 this is a customer facing role, at all times we must leave a positive impression on those we meet and interact with on site.

 report any near misses and accidents to a senior member of staff.

 ensure correct ppe is worn at all times.

 adhere to health and safety protocols at all times.

 show flexibility for the benefit of the company if necessary to cover holidays/sickness.

 report back to a senior member of the team any stock shortages you come across while on delivery.

 perform general housekeeping duties to maintain the cleanliness and efficiency of the deck.

 ask jlr line workers for information if instructed by a senior member of the team, i.e, usages on specific parts.

 unload/load wagons and work benches when required.

skills required -

 good standard of numeracy and literacy essential.

 excellent eye for detail.

 excellent punctuality and attendance.

 previous experience within jlr solihull preferable, but not essential.

 previous experience driving tugs preferred, but not essential.

 previous experience using hand held scanners preferred.

weekly rotating shift working hours - 38.5hrs per week.

* am shift, mon-thurs, 05:45-14:15, fri, 05:45-12:15.

* pm shift, mon-thurs, 13:15-21:45, fri, 12:00-18:30.

remuneration - £10.50 per hour, £21,021 + 5% shift allowance.
