Live in domestic couple position (houskeeper & maintenance) for lovely family near truro £65k gpa + - united kingdom, truro, cornwall
a domestic couple are sought for a beautiful large home near truro in cornwall.
both partners must be fit and active, able to work independently of each other and as a team for this super position.
one to look after all the housekeeping duties and the other to cover all maintenance (including machinery and equipment), handy work, some decorating, small electrical and plumbing issues throughout the house, holiday cottages, swimming pool and hot tubs.
housekeeping duties would include care of everything in the house including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen, laundry, ironing and making beds.
cooking is not a specific requirement but appreciated if the person enjoys cooking occasionally.
both candidates should enjoy engaging with children, as occasional babysitting required. they should also be animal lovers as the family has a dog, a cat and two horses. some animal care and dog walking is required. (sorry no pets can be brought to this position)
couple to oversee changeover of two holiday cottages, but no cleaning of cottages required (agency in place).
the housekeeper and maintenance person are also expected to muck in and help the gardener when not busy.
animal sitting for the dog and cat would be required when the principals are away.
hours are approx 9am to 6pm with an hour for lunch.
salary £65k gross per annum plus a separate self-contained two bedroom cottage. (sorry no dependents)
to start end november/beginning december.
