Cnc lathe programmer - united states, san jose

adecco is looking to fill an exciting cnc lathe programmer role with a rapidly growing metal and machining proto tying company in san jose, ca. they are looking for a professional, responsible, cnc programmer that excels in a team first environment. must be able to produce high quality programs for the set up people on shop floor.

position responsibilities include but not limited to:

producing high quality programs for for set up people on the shop floor, enabling them to work efficiently and need little to no corrections to make conforming parts.

create set up sheets and tool lists for set up people.

ability to do own set ups when needed.

very good understanding of gd&t.

must be familiar with machining many different types of material including aluminum, plastics, steels, and titanium.

experience designing and building fixtures when needed. creating programs and modifying existing ones for increased efficiency.

experience requirements:

5+ years' experience programming with mastercam.

excellent computer programming skills.

proficient in gd&t (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)

must have excellent time management, planning/organizing, and communication skills.
