an excellent opportunity for an experienced cnc turner to join a well-established company based in rickmansworth, herts.

first established as a limited company in 1977, specializing in precision grinding – and quickly became a leading specialist in the field. they offer ‘the complete package’ by manufacture of parts and sub-assemblies complete to a wide range of customers in sectors including aerospace, defence, oil & gas, motorsport (including formula 1), food/scientific and medical to name a few.
they are seeking an experienced cnc turner to join their busy and expanding team on a permanent basis.
duties will include: programming, setting and operating mazak cnc lathes.
candidate requirements:
minimum 4 years cnc turning experience of programming, setting and operating cnc lathes. ideally experienced with using mazak machines / mazatrol controls but not essential as training can be provided. a very good understanding of engineering drawings. ability and knowledge of machining a range of materials to tight tolerances. able to use various types of measuring equipment. ability to work with the minimum of supervision.
previous experience of working in a similar sub contract manufacturing environment is preferred.
working hours: monday to thursday 7:30am to 4:00pm - friday 7:30am to 1:00pm.
salary: up to £38k (negotiable & depending on experience) overtime paid at time and a half.
