we are excited to be representing an av equipment (audio-visual) supplying company in ilkeston that are looking to grow and expand. this has opened a new and exciting warehouse manager vacancy in the company. ideal candidate will understand av and will have a proven track of managing teams.

* salary £28,000 - £30,000

* working monday to friday 9am - 5pm (some flexibility required for peak times)

main duties will involve:

* managing a team of 4 to start with, however we are looking to grow the team around you

* preparing and testing av equipment

* providing support to project managers

* updating our rental management software

* ensuring kit is dispatched on time and in perfect condition

* providing onsite support when needed

* order equipment we are short of keeping budget in mind

* making sure all kit is checked in after a job and highlighting anything that's missing to fil/glenn

* organizing warehouse staff - managing their time through delegation, and making them take ownership of work

* making sure vans/staff leave on time

* organising transport and logistics - hiring vans and crew when needed keeping budget in mind

* make sure pat testing is up to date

* ensure faulty equipment is repaired.

* build better communication between project team and warehouse

ideal candidate will be:

* the successful candidate will be self-motivated and organised.

* live events industry experience is advantageous but not essential.

* you must hold a full driving license.
